United States Colored Troops (Buffalo Soldiers) buried at Bethany Cemetery

These Soldiers made an enormous contribution to our freedom as well as their own Liberation.

Robert Jones 104th

The African American Civil War Memorial in DC has all the names of the USCT. Both William Ellick and Robert Jones names were found under their respective regiments by Javier Wallace of Black Austin Tours while visiting the area. These soldiers are buried in Bethany Cemetery and are recognized in Washington DC.
