Bethany Cemetery Association First Annual Juneteenth Event

 This event, was free and open to the public, we honored the legacy of enslaved ancestors and commemorate the emancipation of African Americans with an ancestral prayer ceremony and a Buffalo Soldier salute and Exhibits highlighting some of the many stories of those buried at Bethany, who lived through this pivotal
time.
